Delays in completing the construction of a cast-in-place, post tensioned concrete parking garage in Akron, Ohio was the subject of a 7 day trial handled by Jay Silberblatt before the American Arbitration Association. Preparation for the trial required a complete understanding of construction and engineering methods utilized in the project, as well as the assistance of experts from across the country. Jay's case was presented using his laptop computer and an LCD projector, providing the arbitrators with a stimulating, visual experience.

Jay N. Silberblatt is a 1977 cum laude graduate of Allegheny College where he received Departmental Honors in American Studies. He earned his law degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1980 where he served as a Senior Writer on the Law Review. Jay recently concluded service as the 128th President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He has served as Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Section and as Chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
