A trial in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County has resulted in a verdict in favor of Jay Silberblatt's client in a commercial dispute involving the construction bidding for one of the structures being built on Pittsburgh's South Side. Several interesting legal issues were in play during the three day trial presented to Judge Judith Friedman.

Jay N. Silberblatt is a 1977 cum laude graduate of Allegheny College where he received Departmental Honors in American Studies. He earned his law degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1980 where he served as a Senior Writer on the Law Review. Jay recently concluded service as the 128th President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He has served as Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Section and as Chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
