What initially appeared to be a routine rear-end collision resulted in a sizeable settlement for a truck driver whose rig was struck from behind by a drunk driver. The impact was so substantial that the rear bed of the truck was mangled and the driver’s seat in the cab was dislodged. Jay N. Silberblatt is a 1977 cum laude graduate of Allegheny College where he received Departmental Honors in American Studies.
