A school bus struck a pedestrian in a cross-walk, causing horrific injuries to Merle Mermelstein’s client. Liability was denied by the school bus driver, but Merle was able to obtain video evidence that clinched a successful outcome, but only after all medical treatment records were carefully and painstakingly reviewed to understand the significant injuries and lengthy treatment. Merle Kramer Mermelstein is a 1982 graduate of Cornell University. She received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1985 where she was awarded the Order of the Barristers.
